Hi. Thanks for wanting to know about me! I’m Ruby.
I’ve been a graphic designer since 2008, but I’ve taken on a few different roles in digital marketing and communications over the years. As a designer, I’ve created a number of print items, websites, and a couple of great mobile apps. I’m pretty accustomed to working in fast-paced environments, but that doesn’t mean I don’t embrace those slower-paced moments. I’ve always loved typography and admired typographic designers. Ensuring consistent and solid branding is also a challenge I enjoy, especially when there are multiple platforms.
I’ve been a social media manager for over six years and a communications coordinator as well, so I’m comfortable with writing content, editing, and corresponding directly with community members. I adapt well to the fluctuating needs in communications. I also do my best to keep an eye on my teammates so I can help them out if they need a hand with meeting deadlines.
I do enjoy tinkering with code too. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an interest of mine, so don’t be surprised if you see me staring at something in Sublime.
